The sophomore novella from Abi Vasquez, Nil's Shroud is another entry in the Abandonware setting; while not a sequel to Virtua Pop, it expands on the setting and further enriches the lore. Like uranium.  Shroud is Vasquez's most violent outing to date, drawing inspiration from 80s exploitation comics and extreme horror as much as it does from cyberpunk. It's a story of contrasts; rich and poor, conventional and freakish, passive and violent. Punx and fashion.
